Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Dan Davis of New Hope UMC

Reverend Dan Davis was appointed as pastor of New Hope United Methodist Church of Waukegan on July 1, 2023. He is rooted in the Waukegan community and has had training in nonprofit management. He is a retired clergy member of the Northern Illinois Conference.

Dan and his wife Donna have resided in Waukegan since June of 2019.

He has a Bachelor of Arts from MacMurray College, a Master of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Chicago Theological Seminary (specializing in Pastoral Counseling). He has other pertinent training including Clinical Pastoral Education at McNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL, a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from North Park University in Chicago and training as a Community Organizer at the Alinsky Institute. We, at New Hope UMC of Waukegan are all proud to have Pastor Dan and his wife Donna with us.
